Get Ahead of the Crowd
And… relax. Fashion Month is over, the style gurus have spoken and the key trends have been decided. For all those that didn’t want to battle the rainy streets in the fashion capitals of the world, don’t worry. We’ve rounded up what you’ll be seeing everywhere this year, and how to wear it all now.
One trend you have to check out: gingham tailoring. Showcased on the streets of New York by Shanina Shaik, wear with standout colours and structured bags to polish off the look.
Lightweight enough for spring with unlimited layering potential for winter, the trench coat is an essential investment. Presented in modern fabrics this season (think vinyl and leather), the classic camel trench will always be our favourite.
The retro print that’s stood the test of time, polkadots are making a modern comeback. Often mixed with other patterns and placed on contemporary silhouettes, make like Niomi Smart (seen in our polkadot dress at London Fashion Week) and pair with sophisticated tailoring.
We know, a lot of us think this one should’ve stayed in the ‘90s, but hear us out! This year, it’s all denim everything. Skirts, culottes, jackets – you name it, it comes in denim. Mix up the textures and colours (think black skinny jeans with an acid-wash jacket), until you build the confidence to go head-to-toe lightwash.
Back bigger and bolder than ever, leopard print dominated the catwalks this season. A seasonless print that you can wear through summer (and beyond), Audrey Rogers channelled the wild pattern in our leopard-print dress at Paris Fashion Week.
